A Warm Welcome to Our New Manager: Jill Hatch

The Calgary Parkland Community Hall is thrilled to announce that Jill has stepped into the role of Community Hall Manager. As we transition into a new chapter for our facility, we couldn’t be more excited to have a leader who is already deeply rooted in the fabric of our neighborhood.

Jill joins the team not just as a recent board member, but as a dedicated local mom and community member. Her firsthand understanding of what makes Parkland a special place to live and raise a family gives her a unique perspective on how our hall can best serve its residents. She understands that the hall is more than just a building, but is the heart of the community.

With a background characterized by excellent administrative, writing, and project management skills, Jill is well-equipped to build upon the strong foundation left by her predecessor Erika.

As we move forward with record rental revenues and beautiful new facility upgrades, Jill’s blend of professional polish and community heart is exactly what the hall needs to reach its next milestones. We are confident that her leadership will keep our community vibrant, welcoming, and well-managed.

After ten remarkable years of service, the Calgary Parkland Community Hall prepares to say a bittersweet farewell to its manager, Erika Diaz. Since stepping into the role as Hall Manager a decade ago. Erika has been much more than an administrator, she has seen the hall to a modern era, leaving the hall and a community that is stronger than ever before.

Erika’s tenure will be remembered most for the physical transformation she oversaw a complete exterior overhaul that breathed new life into the building, ensuring the hall stands as a beautiful landmark for the neighborhood. This revitalization extended beyond the walls with the development of vibrant new outdoor spaces, creating welcoming environments for neighbors to connect and celebrate. Today, the facility is seeing record rental revenues, a testament to the high standard of excellence Erika maintained.

As she moves into a well-deserved retirement, Erika leaves a legacy that ensures the Calgary Parkland Community Hall will remain an asset for the community and city and a lasting home for residents for years to come. Erika will hopefully continue as a board member to contribute to the community we all love.
